Being an entrepreneur means mostly hardship - the headaches of funding, establishing a viable company with little resources, etc, etc.
But once in a while there are small pleasures that make all the hardship worth it all.
Some background: As I mentioned here, we (=Oded Itzhak & I, the founders of Quigo) succeeded in getting kicked in the butt by mostly all VC's in Israel, and a handful of the VC's in the US. We had a perfect batting average of 100%, if you consider a VC chasing you away with a baseball bat to be a hit.
So recently, when I attended a VC conference in Tel-Aviv, I had the great pleasure of having this conversation with lots of those folks:
VC: So, Yaron, what have you been up to since that, err..what was it called..., Quigo thing?
Me: You know... growing the company, growing the revenues and generally kicking ass...
The look on their faces at that point is a source of insurmountable pleasure, which I highly recommend for any entrepreneur out there. It makes it all worth your while... ;-)
